The FM/UL Certified Vertical Indicator Post for NRS Gate Valve is a high-performance, ductile iron valve position indicator designed for fire protection systems, water supply networks, and industrial piping applications. Engineered to meet FM Global (FM) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certification standards, this indicator ensures clear visual confirmation of valve status (open/closed), enhancing system safety and compliance with NFPA and international fire codes.
Applications:
To identify the position of buried gate
Valves from 4" to 12"
Operation Manual
1. Remove the indicator cover.
2. Adjust the length of the connecting rod according to buried depth and cut off the excessive part.
3. Connect the indicator post and gate valve which is in the closed position.
4. Adjust the indicator to the position of "SHUT"
5. Tighten the bolts between the flange of the indicator post and post flange of gate valve.
6. Install the indicator cover.
