Engineering Specifications
The Elite Fire T-tap water flow detectors shall be installed on a tee that has a 1 inch NPT branch include  1 inch.,1-1/4  inch  ,1-1/2  inch and 2 inch as  designated  on  the  drawing and/or as specified herein. Water flow detectors shall mount on any  clear pipe  span  of the appropriate normal  size,  either  a  horizontal or  vertical  pipe. The detectors shall have a sensitivity in the range of 4-10 gallons per minute and a static pressure rating up to 450psi for  1"-2" (DN25 thru DN50) pipes. The detector shall respond to water flow in the specified direction after a preset time delay that is field adjustable. The retard structure shall be a sealed mechanical pneumatic unit with visual time delay adjustment.

Installation Note

Installation of water flow indicator:
1. At the pre-set installation position, use a tapper to drill on the main pipeline and remove burrs according to the above product
specification;
2.Roll up the blade into a small size and put it into the pipeline, install the U-shaped bolt and fasten it up with two fastening
nuts, and the specific installation drawing is shown on the left.
